Exhihit -E-Reclamation Plan <br />112 APPLICATION <br />ELBERT GRAVEL PIT <br />PIT AREA 100 ACRES <br />LEGAL DESCRIPTION <br />PART OF SECTION 27, T. 9 S., R 64 W.,6TH P.M. <br />COUNTY OF ELBERT <br />STATE OF COLORADO <br />Reclamation Plan <br />Reclamation will occur concurrently with mining. The post mining land use <br />will be rangeland. The final planned configuration of the area is illustrated on <br />the Exhibit F map included here in. The element of the reclamation plan are <br />given below. <br />BackfillinE <br />All over burden salvaged during the mining operation will be backfilled into <br />the pit area using a scraper and a dozer. <br />adin <br />The side slopes of the pit will be graded to no steeper than a ratio of 2:1 (h:v). <br />The pit floor will be smooth graded to form a gentle slope of around no <br />steeper then 2:1 slope. (The Exhibit F map illustrated the final topography). <br />The final surface configuration of the Iands surrounding the pit area will be <br />virtually identical to the exhausting ground surface slope and require little <br />minor smooth grading. In such areas the approximated original contour will <br />occur. <br />
