Mr. Joe Dudash
Jn~iuary 5, 1994
Page 2
Mid Term Review
3. Hydrology
B) Both Wells PAW-3 and PAW-4 are located in the backfilled channel of the
Purgatoire River diversion. Well PAW-3 is located at the upper end while PAW-4 is
located at the lower end. Both wells were intended
to monitor level and quality of water in the backfilled channel which consists of historic mine
refuse material. Well PAW-1 is being used as the background well for assessment purposes.
C) As stated above, additional information concerning the update of the PHC for the
Permit Document will be submitted under separate cover at a later date.
Annual Hvdrology Resort Review Issues
Issues addressed for this review are contained in the response to comments for the Golden
Eagle Mine Permit Renewal and have not been repeated in this response.
Colorado Division of Wildlife
Issues addressed for this review are contained in the response to comments for the Golden
Eagle Mine Permit Renewal and have not been repeated in this response.
