No unique operation or maintenance is required. <br />Rule 2.05.3(4)(a)(ii)(D) Describe the timetable and plans to remove each structure, if <br />appropriate. <br />The ponds are long-term facilities. Their removal is called for in the reclamation plan (see Tab 16 <br />page 2).. <br />Rule 2.05.3(4)(a)(iii) see the Rules for the text of this rule. <br />The application is, by exception, in compliance with this rule. No pond has a capacity of over <br />100 acre-feet. The capacity of Pond 1 is 1.6 acre feet (Appendix 12-1, pagel2-18.19). The <br />capacity of Pond 2 is 2.17 acre-feet (Appendixl2-],page 12-1A.7). <br />Rule 2.05.3(5) Topsoil. A narrative explaining the method of removal and the amount to be <br />removed and the plan for storage of topsoil, subsoil, and other material within the permit area <br />subject to requirements of the topsoil removal performance standards of 4.06.2. This narrative <br />shall specify the depth of material to be salvaged from all disturbed areas based on the soil <br />information required by 2.04.9 and shall specify the volume of each type of material to be <br />salvaged. A map of any proposed storage structures shall accompany the narrative. The maps <br />shall be prepared according to the requirements of 2.10. <br />The application is in compliance with this rule. Removal is described under Tab 19 page 3. <br />Stockpiles are shown on Exhibit 9-1. The map is in accordance with Rule 2.10. <br />Rule 2.05.3(7) Coal Handling Structures. A narrative and appropriate map, prepared to meet <br />the standards of 2.10, generally explaining the location, construction, modification, use, <br />maintenance and removal of coal removal, handling, storage, cleaning, and transportation areas <br />and structures in accordance with 4.01.1. <br />See Rule 4.01.1. The application is in compliance with this rule. A narrative and appropriate map <br />is at Map 12-1. A description of other structures begins on page 11, Tab 12 <br />Rule 2.05.4 Reclamation Plan. <br />Rule 2.05.4(1) Each application shall contain a plan for reclamation of the lands within the <br />proposed permit area, showing how the applicant will comply with environmental protection <br />performance standards of the regulatory program. The plan shall include, at a minimum, all <br />information required under the relevant sections of Rule 2. <br />The application has a reclamation plan. See Tab 23 for an overall description. Sealing of wells in <br />on page 1 of Tab 16. Ponds are to be removed (page 2 Tab 16). However, there are to be four <br />monitoring wells, not two, and the water supply well has been omitted.
