(1991). The
required fees of $70.00 for the substitute water supply plan and $60.00 for the well
permit application have been submitted.
The anticipated net depletion for this plan is 41.94 acre-feet per yeaz for the 13.5
acres of lake surface exposed after December 31, 1980. However, the distance from the
pit to the South Platte River is sufficient to create a significant lagged impact on the
river, and the impact on the South Platte River for the initial year of depletions has
been calculated to be 16.62 acre-feet. According to information submitted, no portion
of the lake surface was exposed prior to January 1, 1981.
You have provided a monthly breakdown of the annual depletion totalling 31.67
acre-feet of evaporative loss and 10.27 acre-feet of water in the product. Water used
for dust suppression is purchased separately and is not removed from the pit area.
The proposed source of replacemerii is 31.36 acre-feet from 17.9 shazes (1.75
acre-feet per shaze) owned in the Fulton Ditch.
Replacement for depletions during the non-irrigation season will be met by
additional replacement water during the irrigation season for this year. The
replacement water will be diverted directly into Brannan's Pit No. 27 (M75039) for
which you have assumed immediate replacement credit. The replacement water will be
measured by a device approved by the Division Engineer or Water Commissioner.
<~
