Mr. Carl Mount <br />April 11, 1989 <br />Page 2 <br />of liability and removal of the designated landfill <br />operation from the permit area. Therefore, the current <br />bond held by the State of Colorado for Nucla Mine is still <br />sufficient to cover remaining reclamation costs. <br />In support of this request for release of liability and <br />removal from the permit area at Nucla Mine of 55.6 acres <br />please find attached the following: <br />1. Copies of letters of notification. <br />2. Proposed public notice, which upon approval, <br />will be published once a week for four <br />consecutive weeks in the San Miguel Basin Forum. <br />In addition, please refer to Exhibits 7-4, 7-4a, 9-3, <br />12-1, 12-2, 12-5, 12-6, 13-1a, 13-1b, and 13-3, previously <br />submitted with TR2 (March 8, 1988), showing the revised <br />permit boundary. <br />Upon approval of this release of liability, all <br />appropriate Exhibits in the C-81-008 PAP will be revised <br />to show the new permit boundary. <br />Thank you for your consideration of this request.
