The proposed mine plan, which relied on
immediate permit approval and lease reassignment for Bear to continue
development to the west onto Federal lease C-0117192, is now outdated. Bear
Coal has had to abandon the 1-West entries and is instead eztending the main .
entries south to develop the 2-West panels. Therefore, the following sections
of the mine plan need revision:
1. Map 9, Mine Plan, will need to be re-drawn to indicate the change Sa
mining sequence. All tent in the revision referring to, or
describing, the mine plan ar sequencing will likewise need to be
updated to Bear's current mine plan.
2. A sketch of typical panel recovery showing the sequence of
development and retreat. Panel recovery on the submitted Map 9 is
too vague and does not accurately represent Bear's current panel
recovery system.
The remainder of the revision appears complete and technically adequate.
r
~.
