Michelle Rehmann, IUC
Incompleteness and Understandings
Page 2
2) The C-SR-10 Mine, M-79-027, may be [ ~ ~ ed from further reclamation, however the
timing is such that it may not be rele poor to completion of the property transfer.
I understand there is some confusion regazding how best to handle this particulaz
situation. Because this is primarily a name transfer, and not for the purpo:;e of mining,
please submit the S.O. request, as you have the others, so that is may be processed. The
$100.00 application fee is waived and need not be submitted. The new Financial
Warranty for this operation will have to be submitted, as with the other operations, in the
amount of the current liability, $1,200.00. The Release Request should lie submitted
according to the guidelines provided. Upon completion of the permit transfer, and with
cooperation of the weather, the release inspection will be done as soon as it can be
arranged. If it is released from further reclamation at that time, then the release will be
processed according to the Rules and the new Financial Warranty will be returned to IUC.
If it is found to still require further reclamation, then IUC will be responsible for
completing that reclamation.
3) We are awaiting the transfer documents for [he Montrose County Operations.
4) It is also understood, from a conversation with Vicki Hoffset2, that a new operation may
be applied for. It is possible for Energy Fuels Nuclear, Inc. to begin this process and,
upon completion of the property transfers, for IUC [o takeover the proposed operation.
We do have a procedure for transferring permits during the application pra:ess.
The 'forms required, for the above procedures, aze included with [his letter. Included in this
package are new Hard Rock Operation Application forms, for both 110 and 112 operations,
Performance and Financial Warranty forms, both Irrevocable Letter of Credit and Corporate
Surery and the Transfer of Mineral Application form.
Please contact me if you have any questions regarding any of these matters.
Sincerely,
t ~
CCtiti.ty \' Y
Lavern P.
