L.P. <br />HSEQ AND LAND <br />The following is provided in response to your request for <br />information regarding specific threatened and endangered species <br />that may be found in the White River Resource Area, namely: <br />Graham's Penstemon <br />White River Penstemon <br />Dudley Bluffs Bladder Pod <br />Dudley Bluffs Twinpod <br />southwestern willow flycatcher <br />bald eagle <br />Colorado squawfish <br />boreal toad <br />Lescuerella congests (LECO), Dudley Bluffs Bladderpod, and Physaria <br />obcordata (PROS), Dudley Bluffs Twinpod, are only known to occur in <br />the White River Resource Area. Both species were listed as <br />threatened species under the Endangered Species Act. LECO is <br />restricted to exposures of the Thirteen Mile Tongue of the Green <br />Riā¢rer Formatior_ along barren knolls and ridge crests that are <br />generally under 15 percent slope along Piceance Creek and Yellow <br />Creek and their tributaries (T 1 S, R 97W, 98W, and 99W and T 2 S, R <br />97W and 98W). <br />PHOB is restricted to exoosures of the Thirteen Mile Tongue of the <br />Green River Formation along Piceance Creek and Yellow Creek and <br />their tributaries where slopes of the exposure are barren, loose <br />scree and generally exceed 20 percent slope, and to exposures of <br />the Parachute Creek Member of the Green River Formation on the west <br />side of Calamity Ridge where slopes of the exposure are barren, <br />loose scree and have southerly to south-westerly aspects (T 1 S, R <br />97W, 98W; T 1 S, R97W: and T 1 N, R 100W). <br />Penstemon grahamii (PEGR) and Penstemon albifluvis (PEAL), both <br />Candidate Species for listing as threatened or endangered, occur <br />A/7`c.G....J S <br />
