Cattany <br />Acing Division Director <br />Staff has begun the review process for the above referenced conversion of the existing <br />1 10c permit to a 1 12c (CN-01). Please review the following issues and respond with the <br />requested clarifications or corrections: <br />1) The supplied maps do not have the required signature of the qualified person who <br />prepared them as required by Rule 6.2.1(2)(b). Please supply one original and one <br />copy of a corrected versions of the maps with signature and any other issues noted <br />in the application review process. <br />2) Staff has been informed that Areas noted as the South and West Mining Areas have <br />been removed from the application. Please review all documentation within the <br />permit application and delete any references to these 2 areas. <br />31 Exhibit B should clearly define purposed permit boundaries along with the <br />requirements of Rule 6.3.2. Please eliminate unnecessary data from map. <br />4) Mining and Pre-Mining Maps, Exhibit C, needs to be clarified. The map should <br />reflect current conditions, structures, utilities, etc. as defined in Rule 6.4.3. <br />Elevation increments of 10' should be adequate to demonstrate existing elevations. <br />This Map should indicate clearly proposed boundaries, phasing of the mining <br />operation and direction of purposed mining. It should not include proposed <br />reclaimed slopes or other unnecessary data. <br />5) Reclamation Maps, Exhibit F, should indicate proposed reclaimed slopes within the <br />disturbed areas. Current elevations should be eliminated within these areas unless <br />left undisturbed. Roads, utilities and structures to be left should be reflected on the <br />maps as well. Please reference Rule 6.4.6 <br />6) The Division is requesting that the operator post a new notice at the site as required <br />under Rule 1.6.2(1)(b). Since the application is a year old, the updated notice is <br />necessary. Please post and supply a new affidavit as required. <br />
