Long <br /> <br />Craig, CO 81625 D ~~s ~~ o~~~~~nr <br />Re: Trapper Mine (Permit No. C-1981-010) <br />Technical Revision Application No. 85 (TR-85) <br />East Flume Gulch Sediment Pond <br />Dear Mr. Schneider: <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, Section 116, <br />Paragraph 4, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on June 30, 2000, an application to revise coal mining <br />operations at the Trapper Mine was considered complete for the purposes of filing. The revision was submitted by <br />Trapper Mining Inc. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and [he Regulations initiate from this <br />date of filing. <br />The applicant proposes to construct a sediment control pond on approximately 1.5 acres of land within the existing <br />mine permit area in the SW 1/4 NEI/4 Sec. 32, T6N, R90W. The location is approximately 4 miles south of Cmig, <br />Colorado and is shown on the Castor Gulch 7.5 minute, USGS ropographic quadrangle map. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public inspection at the Moffat County Courthouse, <br />221 W Victory Way, Craig, CO 81625, and a[ the Division office. For additional inforntation or to provide <br />written comments, comact the Division of Minerals and Geology. Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, <br />Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567. In order for us to comply with regulatory time frames, we request that <br />comments be submitted within fifteen (]5) days of this letter.
