Long <br />Division Uircanr <br />Re: Trapper Nline (Permit No. C-1981-010) <br />Technical Revision Application No. 85 (TR-85) <br />East Flume Gulch Sediment Pond <br />Dear County Planner: <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, Section 116, <br />Paragraph 4, of [he Colorado Revised Statutes, that on June 30, 2000, an application to revise coal mining <br />operations at the Trapper Mine was considered complete for the purposes of filing. The revision was submitted by <br />Trapper Mining Inc. All review and comment periods as provided in the Ac[ and [he Regulations initiate from this <br />date of filing. <br />The applicant proposes [o cons[mct a sediment control pond on approximately 1.5 acres of land within the existing <br />mine permit area in the SW 1/4 NEl/4 Sec. 32, T6N, R90W. The location is approximately 4 miles south of Craig, <br />Colorado and is shown on the Castor Gulch 7.5 minute, USGS topographic quadrangle map. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public inspection at the Moffat County Courthouse, <br />221 W Victory Way. Craig, CO 81625, and at the Division office. U order for us [o comply with regulatory time frames, we request [hat <br />comments be submitted within fifteen (15) days of this letter.
