Bowie Resources Limited -Bowie No. 1 Mine <br />Rationale for TR 34 <br />Grouud Water Ivlonitoring Points -Springs <br />Page 5 <br />Spring 31, which is located 1,800 feet from the nearest underground excavation, is fed by <br />seepage from a colluvial/alluvial association, and is used as domestic water. <br />Spring 10-13, which is located 1,400 feet from [he nearest underground excavation on <br />private surface lands, is fed by colluvial seepage and is used as domestic water. <br />Spring 32, which is located 5,800 feet from the nearest underground excavation and is fed <br />by seepage from a colluvial/alluvial association, and is used as domestic water. <br />Spring 17, an adjudicated water right, is located 7,500 feet from the nearest underground <br />excavation, on BLM lands, is found as a seep and of unknown use. <br />Spring 20, an adjudicated water right, is located 2,500 feet from the nearest underground <br />workings, on lands owned by Bowie Resources Limited, is found as a colluvialllandslide <br />seep and used for stockwater. <br />Spring 1-5, an adjudicated water right, is located 8,200 feet from the nearestunderground <br />workings on lands owned by Tamaza Morrell and is found as a seep. <br />Spring 7-1, an adjudicated water right, is located 2,500 feet from the nearest underground <br />workings on lands owned by Bowie Resources Limited, is found as a seep and closely <br />related to Spring 20, and used for stockwater. <br />Remaining Monitoring Points <br />The remaining monitoring points are all associated with the reclamation of the mine property (B- <br />I through B-2, B-4 through B-8, SM-1, SM-9 through SM-11, OVWM, SW-5, SW-6), the <br />continued operation of the Unit Train Loadout (MW-1 Through Iv1W-3) and adjudicated water <br />rights within the angle of draw of the mine workings (Springs 25, 13-5, 13-6, and 14-4.) <br />Spring 14-4, which is currently monitored but not listed as a required monitoring point is added <br />by this revision as a required point due to its adjudicated nature and location within the angle of <br />draw of the mine workings. <br />
