~ {
• •
In the cover letter to the submittal, BRL states that the typical vent bore hole pad design
does not include an upland diversion ditch due to the expected low curve numbers of the
upland undisturbed azeas. The Division and BRL will need to monitor this situation in the
field to verify this assumption.
6. As a reminder, any cultural resources information submitted for any new disturbance will
be forwarded by this division to the office of the Colorado Historic Preservation Officer
for their concurrence before the minor revision submittal can be approved.
In the Division's experience concerning gob vent bore holes on federal land, BRL may
have to meet with federal agency personnel on site before any disturbance associated with
the construction of the vent holes can begin.
If you have any questions, please call me.
Sincerely,
1
oseph J. Dudash
Environmental Protection Specialist
cc: Jim Stover P.E. (J.E. Stover & Associates)
c:\ms97\bowie2\trl5adeq 1
2
