The <br />Division has the following questions and comments: <br />Proposed revised pages Exh-8 - 29i and Exh-8 - 80i show designs for two ditches, <br />designated as GVB-1 and GVB-2. However, Map No. 36 shows three ditches, one for <br />each pad design. Please explain. <br />2. Please explain why the particle size distribution for the silt fence SEDCAD design in TR- <br />15 is different from that used for the Freeman Gulch vent shaft silt fence SEDCAD <br />design. Soil Map No. 4A appeazs to show that the soil type should be about the same for <br />TR-14 and TR-15. <br />Proposed revised page 2.05-47 contains a discussion on reclamation of the gob vent bore <br />holes once the holes are no longer needed. Please add a discussion on the interim <br />sediment control procedures, such as temporary seeding, that will be used immediately <br />after the drill hole has been constructed. If the topsoil will remain stockpiled for a fair <br />amount of time, an appropriate sediment control structure should be installed. The <br />sediment control structwe might be a row of bales or a berm could be built azound the <br />pile, with a notch and sediment control structure in the notch at the down gradient point <br />of the stockpile. Please revise Map 36 accordingly, if appropriate. <br />4. The discussion on proposed revised page 2.05-25 concerning the discussion of the <br />Freeman Gulch vent shaft construction may need to be revised later to match the actual <br />field conditions. <br />
