The revision was submitted by Bowie Resources Limited. All review <br />and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing. <br />The approval of this revision would incorporate revised air emissions permits (construction permits) into the Bowie No. I <br />permit for the train loadout and for the mine site itself. The revised air emissions permits have increased the maximum <br />production limit at the train loadout from 1.7 million tons per year to 3.0 million tons per year. The air emissions permit <br />production limit at the mine site remains at one million tons per year. No new land will be disturbed. 1-here will not be any <br />changes to the facilities or the hydrologic protection system. There will be an increase in the water consumptive use at [he train <br />loadout. <br />The underground coal mining operation is on land located approximately 3 mites north of Paonia, Colorado. The permit area <br />is further described as Collows: <br />Portions of Sections 1, 2, 3, 10-15, 22-25, Township 13 South, Range 92 West of the 6th P. M. <br />Portions of Sections 5-8, 17-19, 29-33. Township 13 South, Range 91 Wes[ of the 6th P.M. <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Bowie. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public inspection at the Delta County Courthouse, 5th & Palmer, <br />Delta, CO 81416, and a[ [he Division office. For additional information or to provide written comments, contact the Division <br />of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colomdo 80203, (303) 866-3567. In order for us [o <br />comply with regulatory time frames, we request that comments be submitted within fifteen (IS) days of this letter. However, <br />commenu may be recieved at the Division within thirty (30) days of the publication of the public notice of the completeness <br />for this Technical Revision.
