County Road 9E <br />Loreland, Colorado 80537 <br />Re: Seedixg mlxttoe for reclamation <br />Dear Freak: <br />Please find enclosed a seeding mixture I received from Jeff BurNVell, a State Resource <br />Conservationist with the United States Department of Agriculture. Mr. Burwell has examined <br />the land along the river and, based ott his research, has provided a seed mixture which will both <br />restore the land to the approximate native mix of grasses existing along the Thompson River, and <br />will provide excellent forage for grazing. Please note, Mr. Burwell also describes the manner in <br />which the seed bed and seed should be drilled to assure a good stand. Please note that the adding <br />of mulch is optional to the extent that the land 'will be. irrigated during its first season. All <br />seeding should occur no later than April 30ei. Also note that a rangeland styled drill must be <br />used due to the texture of the forts seeds contained in the mixture. If a rangeland style drill is <br />not used, then the fort send must be manually broadcast prior to seeding.
