Stevens, Senior Environmental Protection SpeciaGst`~`(,p15L5 RE: Baca County, Gunkel Pit No 31, Pemvt No. M-1993-088 Please be advised that on June 18, 2001, Baca County, whose address and telephone number are 741 Main St., Springfield, CO 81073; (719) 523~i532, filed an application to convert M-1993-088, Gunkel Pit No 31, a 110(c) Limited Impact Construction Materials Permit to a 112(c) Regular Construction Materials Permit. The mining and reclamation operation is located at or near Section 29, Township 285, Range 47W, 6th Prime Meridian, in Baca County. The application decision is scheduled for September 17, 2001. A wpy ofthe application is available for review at the Baca County Clerk 8t Recorders office and at the office of the Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203. If you desire to make commeMS or objections, they must be submitted within twenty (20) days of the date of the newspaper public notice to be considered in the application review process by the Division. You should contact the applicant for the newspaper pubhcation date. If we do not receive your comments or any objection by the end of the public comment period, the Office will assume you have no objection or comment to the proposed activity.
