v~~~~ <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Mr. Nick Gray; whose address and telephone number is: 584 65.30 Rd. Montrose, CO. 81401, (970) 249- <br />9436, has filed an application for an amendment to a Reclamation Permit with the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board under provisions of the Colorado Land Reclamation Act for the Extraction of <br />Construction Materials (permit # M-2005-012). The mine is known as the Gray Pit # 2 and is located at the <br />NW I /4, NW '/., Section 36, Township 49 N., Range 8 W., of the New Mexico Principal Meridian, <br />Montrose County, Colorado on a 41.60 acre site. The proposed date of completion is September, 2054. <br />The proposed future use of the land is for rangeland. <br />Additional information and the tentative and final decision date may be obtained from the Division of <br />Minerals and Geology, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 2l S, Denver, Colorado, 80203, (303) 866-3567, or at <br />the Montrose County Clerk and Recorders office, 320 S. I st Street, Montrose, Colorado, 81402, or the <br />above named applicant. A complete copy of the application is available at the above named County Clerk <br />and Recorder's office and at the Division's office. The purpose of this amendment is to remove the <br />western access road and corresponding area (1.86 acres) from the current permitted area of 41.60 acres, <br />reducing the permitted area to 39.74 total acres, and to switch the site access point to the southeast onto <br />Kinnikin Road. <br />Comments concerning the application and exhibits must be in writing and must be received by the Division <br />of Minerals and Geology by 4:00 p.m. on a date specified as 20 days following the day/date of the last and <br />final publication of the Public Notice in a local publication as provided for in Subparagraphs L6.2(1)(d) <br />and 1.6.3(3). <br />"In the case of a 112 Reclamation Permit Application, such written comments, protests, and petitions (or a <br />hearing must be received by the Office not more than twenty (20) calendar after the last date for the <br />newspaper publication of notice of application." <br />
