June 9, 2006
Mr. Steve S. Shuey
Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology
Exhibit F -Reclamation Plan Map
16. Reclamation Plan Map has been revised to connect the ten foot "as built" contours
to the existing ground contours. The contours on the south side of Unit 1 have
been revised to reflect a 3:1 slope.
Exhibit L -Reclamation Costs
20. Haul distances for replacing overburden and topsoil average 1500 feet per round
trip with a with a scraper or loader. Each trip shall move approximately 8 cu. yd. of
material. Topsoil and overburden hauling shall be mostly downhill for reclamation
efforts and grades will not be a negative factor. In the worst case scenario, it will
require 12,900 cubic yards of topsoil and overburden to be moved for each acre
re-graded to final contour.
21. Revised as per activities and quantities of worst case scenario.
22. DMG will revise the estimated reclamation cost using the information provided.
If you have any questions or concerns, please call 268-5817 or 250-0946.
Thank you,
alteV'~ge
XC: Gary Rinderle -Upland Gravel
-2-
