Canany <br />Washmgton COUnty Division Director <br />150 Ash Natu21 Resource Trustee <br />Akron, CO 80720 <br />Re: Receipt of 110(c} to I12(c} Construction Materials Reclamation Permit Conversion Application, Nickell <br />Gravel Pit, Permit No. M-1994-077, Revision No. CN-1 <br />Dear Mr. Champ: <br />On August 15, 2006, the Division of Minerals and Geology received your 110 to 112 Construction Materials Reclamation <br />Permit Conversion application for the Nickell Gravel Pit, which is located in Washington County. All comment and <br />review pefiods began on August 15, 2006. The decision date for your application is scheduled for November 13, 2006. <br />Within ten (10) days after submittal, you must publish notice in a newspaper of general circulation in the locality of the <br />proposed mining operation once a week for four (4) consecutive weeks. Immediately after the first publication, mail a <br />copy of the nofice to all owners of record of surface and mineral rights, holders of any recorded easements, and all <br />owners of record of lands that are within 200 feet of the botmdary of the affected land. Proof of notice and mailings, such <br />as Certified Mail -Return Receipt Requested, must be submitted to the Division of Minerals and Geology prior to the <br />decision date. Additionally, any changes or additions to the application on file in our office must also be reflected in the <br />public review copy which has been placed with the Washington County Clerk and Recorder. <br />The Division is reviewing your application to determine whether it is adequate to meet the requirements of the Act.
