Communication Lines - A buried telephone line runs along
the east side of County Road 21C.
(c) Topography is shown on the maps by 5-foot interval
contour lines, as well as numerous spot elevations.
(d) A total affected area (permit area) of 1280 acres is
outlined on the maps. The bonded area within the permit
boundary comprises an area of 683 acres, and is
designated by a dashed line. Surety will be posted in
increments as the quarry progresses. Areas disturbe~9
prior to July 1, 1976, are included within the permit
boundary, but will not be bonded until operations or
reclamation dictates their re-disturbance. Pre-law
areas within the permit boundary that are not re-
disturbed will be neither bonded nor reclaimed.
ie) Present vegetation on both undisturbed land and
disturbed land withing the permit area is sparse because
of the intermittant, shallow soils, and the dry clim<~te.
Gzass cover is estimated at 10 to 15 percent. Both 1:he
A-band and the E3-band are ridge formers, and vegetal:ion
is exceptionally sparse on them. Species are listed in
Exhibit J of the original permit application.
(f) not applicable
(g) not applicable
C 1
11
