17. Copies of the written notice to seek release to parties identified in
Rule 3.03.2(1).
RESPONSE: Section 2 contains copies of the letters to the appropriate
parties notifying them of the intention to seek Phase I Bond Release.
18. Copy of newspaper advertisement.
RESPONSE: Section 3 contains a copy of the newspaper advertisement which
will be published for four successive weeks in the Northwest Colorado
Hayden Valley Press.
B. REQUIREMENTS SPECIFIC TO PHASE I BOND RELEASE
1. An as-built, post-mining topography map showing the regraded contours.
RESPONSE: Arrangements have been made to have the mine flown for the
development of an as-built, post-mining topography map during late
September. The map will be submitted to the Division as soon as it is
completed.
2. Certified cross-sections of backfilled and graded area
(representative).
' RESPONSE: Exhibit C in Section 5 shows three certified cross sections
which compare as-built topography to approved post mining design. The
' locations and number of cross-sections are those agreed upon by Cathy
Bege,j of the Division on October 3, 1986, at a meeting with Yampa Mining
' Co. and H-G Coal Co. at the mine offices. As shown by the cross-sections,
the as-built reclaimed topography very closely depicts the approved post
mining design with only minor insignificant differences.
3. Documentation that drainages have been reestablished including
' drainage profiles.
3253h/
(3)
