• •
disturbed acreage is 3.,0 acres. Recovery well 3A-SW will be directionally
drilled to intersect the horizontal well, with surface location selected to avoid
crossing existing product pipeline and provide adequate distance from
archeological site and raptor nest.
3. Area permitted (TR-007} for future disturbance after 1997 is shown in yellow
on the attached map. This area will be utilized for extension of cavities #1 and 2.
No net change in acrea;;e results from this item.
4. Addition of disturbed area for core hole 2B-3C and access road
(approximately 325' south of injection well 91-2H for cavity #2} is requested.
The purpose of the new core hole is to provide resource data and assess fracture
and chloride conditions. The size of the new drill pad is 150' X 110' and the
road is 20' X 90' or 0.4 acres. The proposed location for well 2B-3C is show on
attached map in purple.. The net change is to add 0.4 acres of disturbance.
5. Modify size of approved (TR-8) subsidence monitoring well disturbance from
1.0 acre to 0.5 acres. 'The pad was approved as an area of 200' X 200' and
actual construction was. 110' X 150'. Therefore, net change in approved
disturbed acreage is a decrease of 0.5 acres.
Therefore, if this Technical Revision is approved it would have a net change in
approved disturbed acreage from 64.6 acres (TR-009) to 67.0 acres. A total of
73 acres has been permitted and bonded. An oversized map is attached with
proposed changes shown.
Enclosed please find a check in the amount of $150.00 to cover processing fee
for this Technical Revision.
If there are any questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
'~.~5,.~
Ed Baker, REM
cc: BLM-Meeker w,i maps
