Ms. Erica Crosby
April 8, 1994
Page Three
21. CBA 2 drainage east of channel - Page 171f has been
revised to discuss drainage east of the Coal Gulch
drainage channel. There will be minimal disturbance
along this side, usually less than a 10' wide strip.
The rip rap will act as a rock filter also.
22. Particle size distribution for sedcad calculations - I
discussed this with Susan. She agreed to allow the
current numbers in the calculation, therefore, no
revisions have been made.
23. CBA-2 east collection ditch capacity - Runoff flowing
into the east collection ditch covers approximately
from 7.5 acres. Runoff from the remaining area flows
overland directly into the pond. No revisions have
been made.
24. CDPS permit changes - Prior to installation of pond 11
in the new location, a revision will be made in our
CDPS permit.
25. CBA-2 ditch cross-section - The cross-section was
located on page WW-33. Page 169a has been revised to
note the location.
26. Pond 11 emergency spilling elevation - The spillway
will be located at 4869.4'. Pages WW-5B and WW-6 have
been revised to correspond with this elevation.
27. Pond 11 maintenance - Page 173 has been revised to
provide for sediment and water removal. The statement
that "There must be adequate storage so that no runoff
from a storm event less than the 25 year-24 hour would
pass through the emergency spillway" appears to be in
error. Storage for a 10 year-24 hour event will be
certified upon construction.
One additional item discussed during the last field inspection
was a minor boundary adjustment to topsoil salvage area 3 shown
on Exhibit 9B. A little less than .5 acres was added to this
area to eliminate a steep bank left from the previous topsoil
removal. Exhibit 9B has been revised to show the added area and
page 178b has been revised to discuss the change.
Page 178c has not been revised but information from page 178b has
been extended onto this page. Please let me know if you have any
further questions.
