Mineral Rules and <br />Regulations of the Mined Land Reclamation Board <br />Ap lication Form - Pa e 2 <br />I am unable to locate a copy of page two with an original signature on <br />it. Please sign the enclosed page two and return it to me as a <br />replacement. <br />Exhibit D - Mininq Plan <br />Is there a difference between overburden and topsoil at this site? I£ <br />there is, the topsoil must be stripped and stockpiled separately from <br />the overburden. <br />2. If topsoil and overburden stockpiles are going to remain in place for <br />more than one growing season, they must be protected from wind and water <br />erosion. Please include plans for this (refer to Rule 6.4). <br />3. What will be the steepest slopes of topsoil and overburden stockpiles? <br />4. Pursuant to Rule 6.4(b), what will be done with the pinyon pine and <br />juniper trees presently existing on site? <br />5. Please provide an estimate of the maximum volumes of topsoil, <br />overburden, and processed materials that will be on site at any one time. <br />6. Why are sediment ponds located in only three of the many drainages which <br />the mine and haul road will affect? Alternatively, what erosion control <br />and drainage strategies vrill he used on the haul road and mine area? <br />7. Please provide the following information which relates to sediment ponds <br />throughout the permit area: <br />a. A maintenance and cleanout schedule. <br />h.
