<br />EX[IIBTT C -Mining Plan <br />Item 1 - Mininc is presently occuring in 7.99 acres of previ ly <br />permitted area. This amennc}nent is requesting an additional 1.3 acres <br />(Grid C) to commence upon approvel fran the Mind Land Tdeclama 'on <br />Division and continue indefinite. <br />Item 2 -The soil atop the quarry is fran 1" to 6" in depth. stone <br />is beurg extracted fran the ground, a fair amount Of soil wil accrue <br />from between the layers and cracks. The r.iajority of the soil 'll be <br />mavad to the upper end of the quarry and used to spread over slopes <br />when mining is finished. The depth of the soil used for recl tion <br />will depend on how much stone is extracted. The more stone tak out, <br />the more soil there will be fore reclamation. 'T'here should be o less <br />than an average of 6" depth of soil when reclaimed. The soil 'les <br />awaiting reclamation will be seeded to prevent errosion. <br />Item 3 -All stone extracted is separated into marketable iterr~ and <br />store in the storage areas indicated on Exhibit E -map. <br />Item 4 - It is very difficult to estimate the depth of usable <br />Ids atleast 3 foot deep and possible 10 foot depth. <br />Item 5 - Dtlubit E -map shows all major parents such as <br />~sturg roads and storage areas being used for transporting <br />processing. <br />Item 6 -The newly requisted area will be apprcacimatly 200ft b~ 300ft <br />or 1.37 acres. <br />Item 7 -All roads needed too the proposed 1.37 acres are axis g. <br />Some of the soil removed will be used to build a shoulder on e <br />downhill side of the road to meet the rpnr' anerrts of the saf inspectors. <br />The improved road will be about 10 feet wide and 200 feet lar <br />Items 8 ~ 9 & 10 -There will be no water used or encoutered <br />s operation. <br />Iten 11 -The storage and loading areas indicated on Exhibit E <br />aze used far processing. Processing consists of cutting the <br />with a guillotine type machine. Since everything is separated <br />marketable items, there is no waste. No chanicals or water is <br />for this operation. <br />- map. <br />
