PAGE TWO <br />SEPTEMBER 19, 1991 <br />SUSAN MORRISON <br />3. to establish adequate room for installation of the overcast and the belt conveyor <br />in the East Mains, and <br />4. to establish adequate room to resume mining in the East Mains Section at a later <br />date. <br />In order to fulfill the objectives outlined above, WFU hereby requests CMLRD for the approval of <br />a technical revision to the permit for an incidental change in the permit boundary. Attached <br />Exhibit "A° gives a description of the area to be added to the permit boundary. The area is shown <br />hatched in the attached sketch. <br />The activities in the incremental area will be limited to underground development only. No <br />surface activity or disturbance will occur. No impact to vegetation, soil, wildlife, air, water etc. is <br />expected. Hence, no reclamation bond will be required. <br />A draft of the proposed Public Notice, and afilled-in Application form are also enclosed. A copy <br />of the federal lease COC 51551 will be submitted to CMLRD as soon as the lease document is <br />received by WFU. Both coal and surface are owned by the federal government. <br />Timely approval of this request is very important. Western Fuels-Utah urges that the application <br />be expedited for the earliest approval.
