• Bow-1 Scope of Work January 21, 2004 <br />The Contractor shall be paid the lump sum price stated in the bid sheet under Gob Pile <br />for the work required under this section. <br />Topsoil <br />A minor amount of topsoil was salvaged from this mine. The Topsoil Stockpile locations <br />are shown on the Facilities Map, 8A-2. The Contractor shall excavate, load haul and <br />place this topsoil in locations specified by the Owner. The majority of the topsoil will be <br />placed on the gob pile. The remaining topsoil will be spread on the lower portions of the <br />regraded area. <br />The Contractor shall be paid the unit price stated in the bid sheet under Topsoil for the <br />work required under this section. <br />Structure Removal <br />The contractor shall remove and dispose of the following structures: <br />Fan level -Two Tanks, associated piping, small building and block wall. <br />Portal Level -Miscellaneous steel, concrete <br />Substation Level -Remnants of substation structure and concrete <br />• Warehouse Level -Remnants of silo, miscellaneous steel, concrete <br />Crushing and Screening Level -Miscellaneous steel. Waste oil tank by others. <br />Power Lines - By others. <br />Concrete and miscellaneous steel may be buried at least four feet deep in the fills. <br />The Contractor shall be paid the lump sum price stated in the bid sheet under Structure <br />Removal for the work required under this section. <br />Paved Road <br />Asphalt shall be removed from the paved road from the entrance gate to the mine site. <br />Asphalt shall be excavated loaded and hauled and placed in zone 4-C. The contractor <br />shall narrow the haul road leading to the mine site. The final road surface shall be <br />about 16-feet wide. See Map 6A-SN. <br />The Contractor shall be paid the lump sum price stated in the bid sheet under Paved <br />Road for the work required under this section. <br />-3- <br />• <br />
