After the <br />desired amount of gravel pack has been placed in the annular <br />space, a cement slurry rill be prepared, measured and placed <br />in the annulus of the cell to rithin 3' of the surface. A <br />12• x .250• steel teeing and identification cap rill then be <br />place over the 6• PVC for protection and finished to ground <br />level. During the placement of both the gravel pack and <br />grout materials, the teeing rill be tapped to help eliminate <br />air pockets and promote settling. <br />A Geologist rill be an location to log the cell and insure <br />correct procedures are follored. <br />ABANDONMENT OF OLD AMW-2 <br />The sealing procedure will follor the Divisions Regulations <br />4.07.3 (Permanent Sealing). Cement grout rill be poured down <br />the 4 1/2" teeing annulus to rithin three f3) feet of the <br />ground surface. The teeing will be cut off three (3) feet <br />belor the surface, capped, and back filled. During the <br />placement of grout materials, the teeing rill be tapped to <br />help eliminate air pockets and promote settling. <br />POST COMPLETION DATA <br />Within sixty (60) days the Division of Minerals and Geology <br />rill be provided in rriting with the folloring: <br />• Update pages for section 2.04.7 (Hydrology), <br />relating to AMW-2 <br />• Current statue of new AMW-2 cell <br />+ Well log and detailed procedures used <br />• Detailed description of old AMW-2 abandonment <br />• Updated yell location and elevation map (AHR <br />1994) <br />• Updated Piezometric Surface <br />Aquifer draring, with data <br />tAHR 1994) <br />of Overburden <br />from existing yells. <br />• -61- 4/93 <br />
