•
EXHIBIT E
RECLAMATION PLAN AND TIMETABLE
Reclamation Plan
' The proposed future use of the affected land is a private
recreation area that will encourage habitation by water fowl,
song birds, fish and small mammals. Delta will backfill, slope
and revegetate the lake shore to create a desirable habitat for
wild life as well as a pleasant, natural, quiet place for the
' private enjoyment of nature.
The lake to be created by the mining operation will be
t approximately 16.60 acres. It will be approximately 1000 feet
' long, at its maximum, east to west, and about 725 feet wide, as
a minimum, north to south. (See map Exhibit F.)
During the mining operation, slopes will be backfilled and
regraded to conform with MLRB standards for a lake, 3:1 or less
slopes from 5 feet above to 10 feet below the water line and 2:1
' on the remaining underwater slopes. At least one small island
will be created; hopefully, two islands can be built. After each
mining stage, revegetation will be carried out in the manner
prescribed in the reclamation standards section of this report.
' The island(s) will be revegetated, as well as other areas, so
' that the best possible habitat for wildlife can be provided and
maintained.
' As explained in Exhibit D, mining is planned in two stages,
each 4 to 6 years in duration. At the conclusion of each mining
' 10
1
