Map Exhibit D-1 and F contain complete details and pro-
, gression os the mining stages and reclamation phases os this
project.
The report of the Wildlife Division (see Exhbibt H) lists
' the impact on the area sa minor, but it is our hope that when
reclamation is completed, habitat for wildlife will be enhanced.
' The Wildlife Department suggests a buffer between the river and
' he lake, but Bence the affected lands are not on the river, and
the operator does not own the property adjacent of the river, such
a buffer cannot be provided, except at the Northwest corner for
462.89' where a 75 foot buffer shal be left.
Delta will attempt to complete grading, reshaping, seeding
and fertilizing within one year of the completion of each mining
stage.
' Planting and fertilizing will occur in the fall of each year
whenever possible. If fall planting is not possible, planting will
' occur between April 1 and A1ay 15 in each revegetation year. During
the remaining 3 to 5 years of a reclamat ion phase, re clamation

progress will be monitored and remedial work will be performed
' where necessary.
Reclamation Standards
Grading will create a topography appropriate to the final
' land use. Backfilling will create at least one small island and
as many as two islands, material allowing. (See map Exhibit F.)

1
11
1
