i i
EXHIBIT E - Reclamation Plan
The topsoil will be replaced at a minimum of 6 inches by scraper
spreading and the area will be leveled with motor graders prior to
plowing, harrowing and reseeding. The water level of the pond is
expected to be 4 to 6 feet below finished grade. A slope ratio of
3:1 will be used from finished grade to 10 feet below the expected
water line and no slope will be steeper than a ratio of 2:1. The
topsoil replacement and reseeding operation will be done sequentially
in approximately 6 month phases for fugitive dust control. It is
anticipated that a common dry-land pasture seed mix will be used in
the reseeding process. The mix consists of fairway, intermediate and
crested wheat grasses and is normally applied at a rate of 12 lbs./
acre. Some existing trees will be saved and other trees and shrubs
will be planted and the lakes stocked with fish. The general plan is
to leave a series of lakes interconnected by land masses for roadways,
open areas, camping areas, and office area for camping, hiking, and
fishing. The final grading and reseeding will be completed within the
last three to six months, providing weather conditions do not prohibit
entry into the area.
