16. The reclamation plan depicts a lazge pile in the northeast corner of the permit azea to remain after mining is
complete. Please be awaze that all piles generated during mining must be adequately reclaimed. Please
provide a reclamation plan for the stockpile that meets the standards of Rule 3 and Rule 6.
Rule 6.4.7 Exhibit G- Water Infom~ation
17. Based on the description of the site, it appears that the applicant will need to obtain a Storm Water
Management Plan (SWMP) from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE).
Attached is a copy of the Colorado Storm Water Program Fact Sheet that you may find useful.
Under Rule 3.2(7) the Division is required to conduct an inspection prior to Board consideration. The Division
will schedule an inspection prior to the decision date. Additional questions may arise as a result of the inspection.
Please be advised that the Brownstone Quarry Conversion Application may be deemed inadequate, and the
application may be denied on August 13, 2007 unless the above-mentioned adequacy review items are addressed
to the satisfaction of the Division. If you feel more time is needed to complete your reply, the Division can grant
an extension to the decision date. This will be done upon receipt of a written waiver of your right to a decision by
August 13, 2007 and request for additional time. This must be received no later than the deadline date.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call.
Sin el , ~ ~~~
C~
Erica Crosby
Environmental Protection Speciali
Enclosure(s)
cc: Carl Mount; DRMS
Vic Norris
