Banta,
Drv~sion Director
The Division has reviewed all responses to the Division s adequacy questions
with the exception of any question concerning bonding. .411 bonding questions
and responses are currently under review. In the interest of time, the
following are the Division's 'non-bond responses' to Ken 's resconses to the
Division's permit renewal adequacy questions:
1a. Response accepted.
lb. Response accepted.
lc-4. Tom Gillis will formulate response.
5. Listed below are various questions or concerns related to
question 5 as well as some additional items which were discovered
as a result of the surface water hydrology review. Some of the
items may address topics more closely related to other Division
questions noted in Kerr's response and an attempt has been made
to indicate those situations.
a. Please provide the Division with the Hw/D ratios used for
culvert design. This will allow accurate assessment of
culvert sizing.
b. Culvert 9A currently is situated along ditch F-1 and allows
passage of this ditch under the county road north of Pit 1.
If a Hw/D ratio of .68 is assumed, this culvert appears to be
properly sized for the 100 year 24 hour event. However, the
following discrepancies are noted downstream of Culvert 9A.
