t he any more.
The surface owner is the Robinson Brick Company. Dir. Thorne was simply
a representative of the company at that time. As you noted, the adjacent
landowners will be notified by certified mail.
EXHIBIT B
As you suggested whenever the contaminated calcined clay (o.verburden)
is to be overcast in the future, all recoverable topsoil will be
removed and stockpiled before that overburden is overcast. Please note
that we expect very little future overburden, so there will be little
chance of additional overcasting.
EXHIBIT C
1. The product stockpile locations will be determined by the size of the
stockpile which in turn is determined by the needs of the plants. Since
the future needs of the plants are not known at this time, I cannot
actually state where they will be located. Tliey will of course be within
the boundaries of the amendment.
If topsoil stockpiles are needed, they will be located within and
near the outside boundaries where material has been overcast.
2. North is towards the top of the map, {Ve Have indicated this on
another attached map. If you retain the original map please place an
appropriate north arrow on that map.
3. When Robco purchased this property, they also purchased ingress
and egress easement to the county road. The road within this easement
which is mostly a pre-esisting farm road will remain after mining and
reclamation have been completed; I have shown the tentative location
of this easement on the attached map. The road going to the northeast
will be reclaimed by smoothing and seeding. The acreage for this road
is included in the 9.9 acres of the amendment. The land owner wishes
the other roads within the yellow areas to remain after mining has been
completed to provide access to all parts of the property.
EXHIBIT E
D1y comments under the technical revision of the Buffalo Nl Ptine also
apply in the redistributed areas. The additional mining areas were
also virtually void of topsoil and vegetation. Therefore, for reasons
as previously stated, we feel that Robco should not be required to
revegetate a barren area.
EXHIBIT F
{Ve are in contact with Elbert County Thank you.
