I leave <br />reviewed your letter of September 30, 1982 and will respond to your <br />comments in the same order as in your letter. <br />You will see in the following text that we will have to work out a few <br />problem areas. If tine cannot agree before the October 27-28 hearing on <br />these problem areas, I will have to be present at the hearing. Because <br />of the distance to the hearing this would be a costly inconvience to me. <br />Therefore, if we cannot agree, before the October Bearing, please have <br />this amendment and technical revision carried forward to the next <br />hearing in November. <br />Buffalo >il-Technical Revision <br />Tl~e entire area north of the county road of this permit was mined <br />pre-law. IVhen mining commenced under the new law there was only barren <br />rough ground. Since the operator is not required by law to vegetate <br />any area that had no vegetation when mining commenced under the law, we <br />feel our proposed revision is correct and does not need to be modified. <br />Please note that Robco has already greatly exceeded tl~e requirements of <br />the law by committing itself to regrade the entire area, both pre-law <br />and post-law disturbances, so that the final topography will more nearly <br />conform to the existing topography of this area. <br />Thank-you for concuring with the change in the seed mix for the areas <br />where there is topsoil. <br />Buffalo 1+2 P1ine-Amendment <br />As you noticed the company name was changed to the Robinson Brick <br />Company rather than the Robinson Brick and Tile Company.
