Straw shall be clean, baled straw free from weed seed.
APPLICATION - The seed will be applied on prepared surfaces by
hand broadcast methods at the rate of. 30 ].bs./per acre. Straw mulch
will be blown on the seed bed at the rate of 4000 1bs/ar_re. On flat.
areas straw will be crimped with a mechanical crimper. On slopes
2:1 and flatter, the mulch will be crimped with the grousers o,`: .;
dozer. Seeding should be done in the spring. P.s a standard f.c,r
