<br />I have received your written request for extension of the decision date for the technical revisions named above.
<br />You stated [hat additional time would be required to prepare the adequacy responses specified in my Febmarv 8.
<br />2001, letter [o you. I have APPROVED this first rcouest for extension. The new decision date that you requested
<br />Ilas been set for March I, 2001.
<br />Today (received a follow-up letter from Mr. A. Clair Baldwin, Montrose County Weed Administrator, responding
<br />to my adequacy letter to you on Febmary 8, 2001. The statements made in his letter constitute the submittal of the
<br />remaining Outstanding items needed for [he weed control plans. He has stated that you provided him with all gravel
<br />pit information necessary for him to inspect the sites for noxious weeds, develop asite-specific treatment strategy
<br />for each site as needed, and carry out the treatment each year. He additionally stated that he would prepare a
<br />summary of the site-specific plan for each site, and submit a copy of them to our office. Finally, he committed to
<br />coordinating with your office to provide a report of weed control activities, which will be submitted annualh, as
<br />part of your annual reports for each site.
<br />1 am approving the technical revision for all 16 r~pit permits. Tha7ilc you for your diligence in preparing the
<br />materials for these revisions, and for securing the cooperation of Mr. Baldwin for future weed control.
