Genera]-79 <br />Page Two <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners <br />of E1 Paso County that the following expressions of interest and <br />concern for post-mining land use at Snyder Quarry be conveyed to <br />the State Mined Land Reclamation Board: <br />1. That the present "Forest and Recreation" zoning of the Snyder <br />Quarry, along with the purposes of said zone district, be <br />considered by the Mined Land Reclamation Board in reviewing and <br />approving the reclamation plan for the proposed Snyder Quarry <br />expansion. <br />2. That the designated post-mining land uses for this property <br />should include "forest" uses. <br />3. That the reclamation plan include requirements for the installa- <br />tion of sustainable plant species, including trees, and densities <br />of said species which duplicate, to the extent practicable, the <br />conditions presently existing upon the property. <br />4. That reclamation be performed contemporaneous with mining acti- <br />vity so as to reclaim the maximum area of disturbed land as rapidly <br />as possible. <br />DONE THIS 19th day of June, 1989, at Colorado Springs, Colorado. <br />THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF EL PASO COUNTY, COLORADO <br />ATTEST: <br />By <br />Deputy County Clezk <br />Commissioner Hnwalla seconded the adoption of the fore- <br />going Resolution.
