The road Hass-section at 11 +50 of Exhibit 13-23. lA should show the MSHA berm on the downslope edge of the
roadway and the toe-of-cu#lope ditch (at as-built dimensionsJ. Please amend the Exhibit to include the
ditch and berm on the cross-section. Also, please provide or reference the specific permit
appendix/attachment for the SEDCAD demonstration for culverts K-1 and K-2 that is
referenced in the As-Built Construction Summary.
Response: a) The MSHA berm is not a part of the DMG design requirements. The ditch on the toe-
of-cutslope will not show any detail due to the scale of the drawing. Therefore based on DMG's past
practices/requirements/approvals and the preceding discussion, SCC does not feel that this is request is
justifiable. b) SEDCAD runs have been included for Culverts K-1 and K-2.
If there are any questions regarding these response, please contact me @ (970) 275-5227 or the
letterhead address.
• Sincerely,
%®/ ' ey~~
Roy A.
