Section 24: SI/2 S1/2 SE1/4, E1/2 El/2 SE1/4 Section 25: EIl2, E1/2 W1/2 Section 36: NEI/4 NE1/4 NE1/4 B. The term of this permit will expire on December 14, 2001. C. This permit is issued subject to the following conditions and agreements: Operator agrees to be bound by all lawful requirements of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act (C.R.S. 34-33-101 et seq.) ("the Act"), all lawful rules and regulations thereunder, as amended from time to time, and all provisions of this permit. 2. Permittee shall take all possible steps to minimize any adverse impact to the environment or public health and safety resulting from noncompliance with any term or condition of the permit, including, but not limited to: a. Any accelerated or additional monitoring necessary to detemtine the nature and extent of noncompliance and the results of the noncompliance; b. Immediate implementation of measures necessary to comply; and c. Warning as soon as possible after learning of such noncompliance, any person whose health and safety is in imminent danger due to the noncompliance. 3. The permittee shall dispose of solids, sludge, filter backwash, or pollutants removed in the course of treatment or control of waters or emissions to the air in the manner required by Rule 4 and which prevents violation of any other applicable State or Federal law. 4. The permittee shall conduct its operations: a. In accordance with any measures specified in the permit as necessary to prevent significant environmental harm to [he health or safety of the public; and,
