. ~~ r <br />We also conducted a volume analysis: As stated above, approximately 888,400 <br />cubic yards of topsoil were available for redistribution over about 300 <br />acres: When depth is back-calculated from these figures, the approximate <br />redistribution depth drops to 22 inches. The approximate actual volume <br />redistributed was calculated by multiplying the average 20.5 inches by 300 <br />acres, and based upon the calculation, it appears that about 826,833 cubic <br />yards were replaced. This 826,833 figure is approximately 93% of the <br />initially available amount of 888,400 cubic yards. <br />It appears that CYCC has come reasonably close to their initial topsoil <br />redistribution estimates, given the various possible sources of calculation <br />error with these types of analyses. Also, as we observed in the field, <br />revegetation appears to be progressing adequately. After you have reviewed <br />this information, we should discuss the proposed decision.
