7.5 Curve Number (CN) <br />7.5.1 Pre-Mined State <br />A CN value of 87 over Carracas Loam is developed in Paragraph 2.7 for the Rangeland <br />Reference Area (1996 Vegetation Sttrvey). <br />CN values of 85 over Carracas Loam is developed in Paragraph 2.7 for the Exhibit 5 <br />reference. <br />7.5.2 Reclaimed State <br />Information from the Topsoil Pile and North Flat areas of the 1996 Vegetation Survey was <br />used to determine CN values for subwatersheds of the North Flat. A CN of 83 is <br />determined for subwatershed 1-1-1-1 (Topsoil Pile), and 82 for subwatershed 1-1-1-2 (North <br />Flat). <br />7.6 Hydrograph Response Shape <br />See Paragraph 2.5. <br />7.7 Soil Erodibility Factor (K) <br />See Paragraph 2.3. Subwatersheds are on Carracas Loam (K=0.20). <br />7.8 Control Practice Factor (CP) <br />7.8.1 Pre-mining State <br />A CP value of 0.031 is developed in Paragraph 2.8 for the Rangeland Reference Area (1996 <br />Vegetation Survey). <br />A CP value of 0.182 is developed in Paragraph 2.8 for the Exhibit 5 reference. <br />7.8.2 Reclaimed State <br />A CP value for subwatershed 1-1-1-1, the Topsoil Pile area, of 0.029 was developed in Table <br />5.8.2-4.
