OSM requested, and CO-DMG
directed, CAM Mining LLC to reevaluate the McClane Canyon mine's potential effects to
threatened and endangered species. As a part of that reevaluation, CAM Mining LLC also
elected to include their Munger Canyon mine in the evaluation.
The McClane Canyon underground coal mine is located in Garfield County, Colorado,
approximately nineteen (19} miles north of the town of Loma, Colorado, on Bureau of Land
Management, and private lands as follows;
Township 7 South, Range 102 West 6`" P.M.
Section 15, All;
Section i6, E'/z;
Section 21, E'/z, E'/zW'/z, SW'/aNW'/a, NWt/aSWt/a;
Section 22, Atl;
Section 27, Nt/z;
Section 28, NW'/aNE'/, NEt/aNW'/< .
TAKE PF.I S=~ ti:~,,'~4~
tN~MERIGA ~.,,~
