("MPC")
Howe Pit, Permit No. M-78-052
Revised Drainage Control Plan
Dear Carl:
This letter follows up on our telephone discussion at the beginning of last
week regarding the above-referenced Revised Drainage Control Plan (filed with
your office on January 11, 2002),' and the processing of the Plan as a Technical
Revision ("TR") to Permit No. M-78-052. In the interim, I received the letter you
mentioned Barbara Chiapponne would be sending regarding the TR application
fee (i.e., $188).
As we had discussed, on Friday, February 1, 2002, MPC circulated a set
of construction drawings to the Urban Drainage Flood Control District ("UDFCD")
Task Force for review and comment. The construction drawings are based on
the Revised Drainage Control Plan we supplied the Division on January 11. I
had anticipated providing you a copy of the construction drawings to use for the
TR after our February 4, 2002 meeting with the Task Force. Based on the
comments MPC received at that meeting, however, the company is making
certain revisions to the construction drawings. To avoid any future confusion,
MPC believes that the TR should reflect, as closely as possible, the outcome of
the Task Force process. I believe that after the next round of Task Force
comments, ,,MPC will be .positioned to provide you construction drawings that
' Carl, based'on our conversation, I understand that the January 11, 2002 submittal made
to your office on behalf of MPC has been accepted by the Division as satisfying Section 2.a of the
Board's October 26, 2001 Order. If my understanding in this regard is in error, please let me
know immediately.
