Lnng <br />Dinaun Direonr <br />Dear Mr Klco: <br />Enclosed is a copy of correspondence tha[ was sent to the Division on November 7, 1997 regarding a <br />"dangerous clifF' at the quarry. <br />Also enclosed is a copy of a letter that the Division sent to the landowner. <br />Mr Clifton submitted.his letter within the 20 day comment period so, if this is a letter of objection, he <br />will be a party to the amendment application process and will be allowed to voice his objection(s) at the <br />various pre-Board hearings (if necessary). <br />You should contact Mr Clifton and try to resolve his concern. If you calmot satisfy his concerns the <br />Division will have to set up an informal conference and, possibly, apre-Board hearing and a Board <br />hearing. <br />I asked Mr Clifton if he would like to attend the pre-operation inspection on November 18, 1997 <br />(weather permitting).
