In order to achieve these goals, the DMG is requiring R. M. Hiner Construction Co., Inc. to submit a <br />technical revision to permit M-1977-151 by January 29, 2002. Issues this technical revision must <br />address include: <br />1. How R. M. Hiner will identify the extent of the contaminated material, <br />2. How R. M. Hiner Construction Co., Inc. will handle the removal,and disposal, or treatment on site <br />of all contaminated material at the site. <br />3. How R. M. Hiner Construction Co., Inc. will identify and monitor the presence of a groundwater <br />plume, <br />4. A commitment that if contamination of groundwater or surface water is discovered, DMG must be <br />contacted immediately <br />5. Measures that will be taken by R. M. Hiner Construction Co., Inc. in the event that contamination <br />is identified in the groundwater and/or surface water, <br />6. What standards will be used as indicators of contamination, <br />7. A commitment that DMG will be supplied with laboratory analysis results, <br />8. A monitoring plan for the groundwater and ponds adjacent to the release area including laboratory <br />analysis for TEPH on a monthly basis, until remediation at the site is complete, <br />9. A commitment to regular reporting intervals to keep DMG apprised of the situation and progress <br />at the site, including laboratory analysis results from site monitoring, and <br />10. How R. M. Hiner Construction Co., Inc. will monitor and avoid a similaz incident in the future. <br />Please address the above request and submit a technical revision to the DMG for the R. M. Hiner <br />Construction Co., Inc. Greeley Pit reclamation permit by January 29, 2002.
