•
Annexation Agreement with the Town or Morrison create only an option for construction of Permanent
Reservoirs No. I and No. 2. The Town has the flexibility to decline the delivery of the reservoir sites based
on future design and cost-benefit evaluations. The timetable for knowing whether the reservoirs will be
constructed was established as decision dates of 1 July 1998 for Reservoir No. 1, and one year before
excavation below the proposed high water line (approximately 10 to l5 years from now) for Permanent
Reservoir No. 2. It is no[ entirely certain at this time whether either of the reservoirs will be built, although
ttie Town committed to Reservoir No. l this past July and is presently spending funds on planning and design.
Ffence, CAMAS proposes to bond for the reservoir areas as traditional wildlife habitat reclamation until such
time that Morrison (or another party) has committed to reservoir construction.
If the proposed reservoirs are built; those areas may reasonably be educted from CAMAS's bonding
commitment to DMG and the above reclamation costs correspondingly reduced. The costs of construction/
reclamation as water storage should not be included in the DMG reclamation bond when and if [his occurs
because the reservoirs will be constructed as a Town of Morrison/CAMAS partnership with separate financial
warranty and performance requirements from CAMAS to the Town.
G:WROIECTS~'0100~DOTTFJCIWMFNDOS.TXT Vltl' 2
