• s <br /> <br />EXHIBIT "E" <br />RECLAMATION PLAN <br />• <br />• <br />(a) Description of the type of reclamation proposed, reasons <br />and methods of reclamation as related to the mechanics of <br />earth moving. <br />The entire pit area will be reclaimed as rangeland. This use <br />was chosen by the Landowner/Lessor as being consistent with <br />the balance of his property and ad,ioining ownership. <br />Earthmoving in <br />of the following <br />of these: <br />reclamation will be performed by any or all <br />types of equipment, but not limited to any <br />Front-End Loader <br />Scraper <br />Dozer with ripper <br />Backhoe <br />Earthmoving required for reclamation will be fairly straight <br />forward. Ripped and blasted caprock will be used to <br />backslope the pit floor away from the highwall at 4H:IV or <br />flatter. Overburden will be placed on the caprock backsloped <br />pit floor and then available topsoil will be deposited on top <br />of this. <br />(b) Comparison ofi the proposed post-mining land use to other <br />land uses in the vicinity and to adopted state and local land <br />USe plans and prggrdm5. <br />As stated in (a)(i), rangeland is the applicant's and <br />Landowner/Lessor's choice for reclamation as being consistent <br />with the balance of their acreage and adjacent usages. This <br />was also the recommended choice of local land use officials. <br />(c) Description ofi how the reclamation plan will be imple- <br />mented to meet each applicable requirement of Rule b. <br />6.1 Grading <br />"Grading shall be carried on so as to create a final topogra- <br />phy appropriate to the final land use selected in the <br />reclamation plan. <br />(1) The backfilling and backslopinq process will replace <br />caprock and overburden in the mined area and shall insure ad- <br />equate compaction for stability. There will be no waste <br />materials or toxic materials used that could be leached. <br />
