Lochhead <br />ExecuUVe Director <br />RE: Ade ac Letter, Board Ordered - Amendment AM-1, Rock g ~~ ael8 Lang <br />Qn y ]~ ~~n Director <br />Gravel Pit, File No. M-82-129, Violation No. M-94-013 <br />Dear Mr. Goemmer: <br />On April 27, 1994, the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board found <br />you to be in violation of C.R.S. 34-32-116(7)h for damaging land <br />outside of your permitted affected land boundary. You have chosen <br />to satisfy Board ordered corrective actions by reclaiming some land <br />affected outside of your permit boundary and adding other land to <br />increase your permit area to 9.9 acres. This arrangement was <br />interpreted by the Director to satisfy the intent of ordered <br />corrective actions. <br />The Division has reviewed your amendment application which is <br />primarily a survey of an area which the Division believes is <br />intended to be your new permit boundary. Following is a list of <br />adequacy concerns rEagarding your application. Please answer these <br />concerns by July 27, 1994 or request a later decision date to avoid <br />denial of your application. <br />1. You have submitted a revised Exhibit A that provides a legal <br />description of the area you intend to include in the amended <br />permit, however you have not provided a new Exhibit E Mine <br />Plan and Reclamation Plan Map. <br />Below is a li:at of items that are necessary for this map. <br />Please prepare a map at a scale no smaller than 1 inch equals <br />50 feet. Provide a response to each item that is not <br />completely answered by the original permit. Also, show on <br />your map(s) that portion of the area disturbed outside of your <br />original permit boundary that you have chosen to reclaim to <br />mitigate the corrective action ordered by the Board. <br />Exhibit E - MaP <br />You must provide a map that clearly describes the features <br />associated with the mining plan and the components of the <br />reclamation plan. You may want to include one map for the <br />mine plan and one map for the reclamation plan. The map(s) <br />
